Lalalala! Finally figured out how to use my digital camera properly and download pictures onto my computer! Doing a little happy dance of joy around my room...
In other news, had a fairly good vacation except for certain isolated incidents; puking in the snow in front of a Tim Hortons in some random small town on the way to Collingwood comes to mind. The only good things about that particular occurrence was 1) it was because of a stomach flu, not drunkenness or a hangover and therefore not my fault, and 2) it was the climax of my sickness and I felt increasingly better for the rest of the day.
I still haven't made any progress towards my New Year's Revolution of learning how to knit, although I blame the ridiculously cold Kingston winds for keeping me curled up in my room instead of going downtown to buy supplies. Once the weather warms up (like in two months), I'll go, I swear...
Hung out with Margot this weekend: attending house parties, playing pool and watching Veronica Mars. The house party was full of people I didn't know, as per usual, but we formed our own small group and discussed comedians and played magnetic darts.
Unsurprisingly, I'm even worse at playing pool while drunk then I am usually, and so indulged in a minor celebration any time I managed to hit a ball properly.
Veronica Mars rocks my socks, and I must continue watching the rest of the second season and hopefully the episodes I missed from the first season too. It would probably be a good idea to do so without first getting embarrassingly drunk, as I did at Margot's on Saturday. And after she was very generous and made us fries, too. *waves at Margot* Hi! Sorry again!
I will attempt to repay her kindness by bringing gifts of food and watching random McKay episodes of Stargate with her...
Very excited about this weekend, as Peter's coming down from Ottawa to visit. Desperately hoping that we don't discover that we're actually unable to stand each other if alone for longer than two hours, 'cause that would suck. *crosses fingers, knocks on wood, and sends a prayer to the Infinitely Merciful*
