There's this quote from a poem by Neil Gaiman that I can't get out of my head. I know there's a story about Rodney in it somewhere, about Rodney and Jeannie and maybe John too, and the difference between how Rodney sees them and who they really are, but I just can't pull it out of my head. So here's the quote, just in case anyone else can yank that story out of its hiding place.

Do not be jealous of your sister.

Know that diamonds and roses

are as uncomfortable when they tumble from

one's lips as toads and frogs:

colder, too, and sharper, and they cut.

- Neil Gaiman, Instructions

There are these communities that help you find stories...I'm not sure what they're called for SGA, but I'm 99% sure I've heard of one for SGA. You should definitely post there, unless you've already found it?

And, for no apparent reason, I really want to bake a cheesecake right now, and I want to make it a green tea cheesecake. If it works, and it tastes good, maybe I'll come over to your house and bring you some!

Um, actually this story only exists in my head right now, it hasn't been written yet. I was only looking for it metaphorically. *g*

Yay green tea cheesecake!
