Four things:

1)I've finally gotten my G2 license, which is awesome. I was stunned that I passed the test considering that my test was basically a comedy of errors.

Instructor, standing behind the car: Okay, so turn the car on and press the brakes and the signals so I can make sure your lights work.
Me: *accidentally hits the gas instead* Whoops. Maybe he didn't notice?
Five minutes later
Instructor: Do a three point turn.
Me: *reverses car into the curb, hides wince* Oh, dear. Maybe he's fallen asleep? In the five minutes we've been driving?
Five minutes later
Instructor: Back into that parking space, between those two large cars.
Me: *panics, tries to back in only to fail while also blocking traffic, gets the damn thing parked on the second try, ignores the fact that it's completely crooked* Oh for fuck's sake. I wonder how he feels about bribes.
Instructor: So, you passed.
Me: *blinks* ...Seriously? Wow, this explains a lot about the drivers in this city.

2)My SGA fanvid has been nominated in the Stargate Fan Awards, so yay! And thank you to whoever nominated me!

3)Somehow, mistful makes everything about Harry Potter about ten gazillion times better. Case in point: The Deathly Hallows epilogue, which I hated and wished had been left out of the book, has been almost completely redeemed for me by this, in which there are sewers and dads and a more grown-up kind of happy ever after.

4)I'm going to be incommunicado for the next couple of weeks, as I am off to where there are no computers nearby. Do try not to pine away for lack of me, y'all.

Hahaha...I just got your email about part 3, and yeah, I'm pretty sure you already noticed, but I fell asleep at the end of the email, cause I'd just pulled an all-nighter.

Yeah, I was kind of confused by the end of your email, but I decided not to mention it. I'm impressed you could write even that coherently while asleep. :D

Hahahaha...yeah, I remember waking up and hitting send, but I seriously don't remember the last part. I do want the prison part to be longer though, just a bit. But yeah, I was awake for the first half, and then I think I just crashed.
