random

So I wrote the LSAT today, but I really have no idea how I did, other than 'probably not terrible'. The results don't come out for weeks, so that'll be fun, but at least now that I don't have to study any more I can devote my time to other things. Like my many, many unfinished fics.

I've noticed that when I'm in the middle of writing a fic, I don't want to read any other fics that have similar structures or plots, like if I let someone else's little 'verse touch the one in my head, it'll spin out of my control. Kind of like the Heidenberg thing, only with the observer being changed rather than the observed. Does that happen to anyone else?

Lucky you, done the LSAT! I'm writing in September, so I have all of August to study...yeah, I'm totally looking forward to that...*sighs*.

As for the story thing, I can't really say that happens to me, considering I don't write stories very often, but I find if I ever read anything remotely related to a topic I'm writing about for an essay or something, aside from the resources I started out with, all hell breaks lose, and my essay goes WAY out of control. I completely lose my perspective on the topic, and go on random tangents, and usually, after much delay and frustration, I end up writing the exact same thing I started out with.

Also, this is kind of random, but I had to use delete while I was typing this, and a huge black fly landed on the delete key of my keyboard today, so every time I hit delete, I feel so grossed out. I washed it and everything, but eww...black flies =S.

Yeah, I dodn't want to wait until September to write it, because I'd already have so much other stuff to do, and I'd probably have to study at my cottage and such.

Heh, random tangents in essays are not good. Dude, you washed the key because a fly landed on it? :)
