Random moment from my history lecture today, in which my prof (who's retired military and slightly intimidating) was once again reminding the class of the due date for our research paper with the aid of Power Point. He keeps reminding us pretty much every class because no late papers will be accepted at all, and in his words, he doesn't want to hear people whining about how they didn't know when it was due.
Scary Prof: Okay, so everyone knows when the essay's due, right?
Class: *mumbles* December 6th.
Scary Prof: And the penalty for late papers is?
Confused Student: ...Death?
Scary Prof: *under breath* I wish.
Hee! Très amused.
